East Asia Trade Square

The East Asia Trade Square is the largest trade building in China. Inside, you’ll find gardens and amusement parks, as well as restaurants and shopping areas. To get around, you’ll have more than 40 escalators, and over 30 different shopping areas to stop in. It’s size is around 430,000 m2 and has a floor space of 197,000m2. The glass covered hall takes up over 2,400m2. It sells more than 200,000 kinds of merchandise.

Zhongjie Shopping Center

As the largest commercial enterprise in northeast China, the Zhongjie Shopping center has eight floors, including two underground levels. Inside, you’ll find over 100,000 kinds of merchandise and is a sure stop for both shopping and relaxation.

China Furniture City

With over 5,000 stands inside, the China Furniture City sells over 10,000 kinds of furniture of Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, European and Hong Kongese styles. These different stands occupy an area of 20,000 square meters selling goods such as office furniture and furniture for your home, including living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, encompassing both classical and modern styles.

Taiyuan Jie

Near the Traders Hotel, Taiyuan Street is a one-stop street where you can pick up goods from the Heping Mall, Shenyang Fine Arts Services, Shenyang Zhongxing Trade Mansion, the Science and Technology Bookstore and Foreign Language Bookstore. As the major shopping center of Shenyang, you’ll find stalls displaying fashionable clothes, souvenirs and all sorts of paintings and artwork.

Zhongjie Street

This street has a long history, but has been newly renovated. You’ll find ZhongJie just outside the northern gate of the Imperial Palace. A sightseeing street, Zhongjie houses numerous restaurants and shops to fill one’s day. Local specialties available include tea and ginseng, gems and amber, carvings and paintings.

Shenyang Eastern Folk Art Exchange

For antiques and curio lovers the Eastern Folk Art Exchange City on Youhao Jie has a huge selection of Traditional Chinese Folk Art. Among their collections are such items as porcelain, jewelry, teapots and carvings as well as more exotic objects such as Egyptian papyrus and Korean celadon. Similar exhibitions can also be found in the Imperial Palace, the Liaoning Antique Shop on Chaoyang Lu and the Nanhu Antique Market, north of the west gate of the Nanhu Park.

Beishichang Market

Beishichang is an area covering five streets which all bring together traditional culture with an old city style with the modern times, ideal for browsing and exploring.
