Shanghai Fox: Broadcasting Every Friday!
Due to rather foreseen circumstances (TeraScape.NET getting busier), we've decided to... keep on rockin'! . . . only every once in awhile. To find out when we're broadcasting, Join the Shanghai Fox facebook group to receive notices of when we're broadcasting again. On (special) occasion, we'll broadcast a feed with announcements of what the special occasion is, along with our usual assortment of rock music. Find out when by joining the facebook group!

Shanghai Fox is an internet radio station still under beta test. We play rock and roll with some classic rock mixed in, every Friday from 8:30am to well into the afternoon & sometimes evening.
How can YOU get involved? Simple! If you''re a non-profit organization in Shanghai, record a Public Service Announcement in either .wav or .mp3 format, and email it to skyline5k (at) gmail (dot) com and we'll put it on the air. For an example of a PSA, click here for the Library Project PSA. If you just want to hear yourself on the internet, by all means, record your voice. You could say something like, "Hi, this is (your name/your username) and you''re listening to Shanghai Fox!" Notes: Past tests suggest that if you're behind a company firewall, you may have a problem. Talk to your company IT people about this.
The music is NOT CENSORED. Nor are the movie soundbytes I occasionally throw in. You will hear words such as ****, *****, ****, *******, ****, **** & the occasional ****. Remember that when you're listening at home with little Johnny or Xiao Li.
The music does NOT come from this server, and the link is on a dynamic IP & not a static IP, therefore it changes every so often.Remember, this is STILL in beta test. It usually works, but we've had problems in the past. If it doesn't work properly, most of the time it's YOU!
Typical Causes of bad streaming:
slow internet speed on YOUR end.
Company firewall.
Personal Firewall.
Lousy media player.
Too many programs open on your computer all accessing the net at once.
You're Daft.
The Charity Bump on the show is for the Library Project and is a free charity bump. I know Tom personally, and his organization is a legitimate organization and is doing a lot of good around China & Vietnam. Take a look at his site, and see what you can do to help underprivileged children around China.
